Singers and helpers required! Why not join us?
If you live within reach of Haslemere and would like to get involved, please do get in touch and join our membership, which is currently running at about 250 members. There are currently about 100 regular volunteers who help in one way or another, thus saving money which can be used to support our soloists. You can take part in any of these areas:
- On stage — in the Chorus, or as a soloist
- Backstage — with wardrobe, scenery, properties, or stage management
- Front of House — meeting and guiding members of the audience
- Back Office — away from the theatre; the business and admin. side of running the company and furthering its activities
Please get in touch; you will be made very welcome!
Age is no problem; both old and young are made very welcome. In performances, there are nearly always parts for adults and children.

Opera South has a schools programme aiming to involve teachers and to help
give children experience of opera.
